The Kuvasz Symposium in Oroszlany
Kuvasz owners and breeders from Hungary, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, and the USA met in the hall of a mining company, enjoyed a great home made lunch and heard speakers from 8 clubs. The officers of the Hungarian Kuvasz Klub spoke of the future direction of the Klub including increasing the export of quality dogs to North America. Pedigrees and registration is granted only to club members who have received approval for the breeding from the club. We were pleased to hear Geza Hetenyi announce that in addition, Hungarian export pedigrees would only be issued after dogs had obtained certain health clearances.
President of the Hungaria
Kuvasz Klub Geza Hetenyi accepts this specially made
Trudie Doll as
a gift of friendship and solidarity from the members of Kuvasz Fanciers of
America. The Doll, dressed in the colors of the Hungarian flag, holds a Kuvasz
puppy wearing a collar of the red, white, and blue, of the flag of the USA.
Relaxing outside the meeting
hall.
Does it get any better
than this? Enjoying your cake and your Kuvasz!
